I was strolling around the shopping bazaar called The Market in Nolita where the wares of up and coming designers selling clothing and accessory items are displayed for your shopping pleasure. Out of complete necessity to cover up a bad sun tanning burn on my back, I was frantically searching for a cool T-shirt to purchase and wear on the spot. I run into Montana Knox. This new young shirt designer’s first collection is enticing. His eponymous line comprises of artfully designed tees, tanks and hoodies for both girls and guys which exhibit his uniquely original hand drawn illustrations that combine an urban flair with imagination and mystery.
