Julien d’Ys‘ invaluable contributions to the Met ‘Model as Muse’ gala can be seen everywhere. From the fact that he gave Linda Evangelista and Nadja Auermann their signature career altering chops to his incredible graffiti work in the exhibition’s grunge themed room where the names of legendary models are scrawled artfully across the walls. The French hairstylist’s work-ethic and creativity have made him one of fashion’s secret weapons and at this morning’s Met festivities he stopped to chat with MDC about how that incredible mural came to fruition.
