Vintage Sensation

Recently I went to a trunk show and saw a new jewelry designer’s work. What struck me was not that the designer used vintage items to piece together simple works of art, nor the fact that her necklaces are of the larger sized quotient which is currently all the rage, but the realization that she constructed a business out of her home spun designs, is selling them in stores and has created a quiet buzz about herself, all in a matter of a six weeks. Now that’s a commendable feat in any line of work. Tina Thor is becoming the next ‘It’ girl and her vintage styles are what’s the talk of the town right now.
Ranging from $150-$1500, each necklace is one-of-a-kind made from lots of old broken bits and pieces and new beads. The great thing about them is they go with everything!
