In between the sepia four panel fold out cards and a hard cardboard case embossed with a gold “Ver Sacrum” (Latin for making a large vow of sacrifice during times of distress) the message is clear. New York Models means to make its bold case in the taste stakes and a brand new blue chip girl like Sigrid is front line in that battle. With Giedre in Prada SS 09 and Anastasija returning to NY after breakthrough bookings in Marc Collection and Calvin Klein last season clients will be scanning these cards closely for that next wave beauty. Heleen and Kiki shimmer with early potential which makes them a must-request.
