Moss Gallery presents London-based Dutch designer Tord Boontje’s ‘The End’, the last chapter in his ‘Happy Ever After’ trilogy that explores the myths inherent in universal fairy tales.
The designer known for his whimsical garland light presents eight highly stylized theatrical mis-en-scenes presented on an 18 meter-long stage and launches many new designs including prototypes, high-tech laser-cut and water-cut fabrics, several new furniture pieces and new chandeliers. Also included are wall-tattoos created for Swarovski and a large hand-painted mural that Boontje executed on location in NYC with his studio assistants. This event is part of ORANGE ALERT: Dutch Design in New York series.
