Parsons has always been one of fashion’s breeding grounds for new talent: the list of designers who got their start at the famed college is long and illustrious. Names like Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui and Donna Karan all got their start at the NYC institution and this year a whole new set of generation of design innovators are set to graduate into the big leagues. The Parsons Fashion Benefit honored big name alumni like Coach’s Reed Krakoff, but it also served to introduce the world to the work of impressive grads like Jovana Mirabille, Paige Kettering and Jeanne Tasma. The end of year runway show, cast by Edward Kim was an wonderful showcase for fresh design and some of modeling’s freshest faces.
