“Everybody’s Fight” Film Produced by Karlie Kloss and Phoebe Gates
Karlie Kloss and Phoebe Gates have teamed up as executive producers with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation to create Everybody’s Fight: An In Bloom Series for Reproductive Freedom. The film series, which premiered on October 22nd, just weeks before the U.S. presidential election, explores how the end of Roe v. Wade and the loss of federally protected abortion rights have impacted millions across the country. The series will consist of three documentaries and two narrative short films and the premiere film, written and directed by Jessica Mendez Siqueiros, shines a light on the lack of access to reproductive care in Indigenous communities. The second film, currently in production, is written and directed by Nijla Mu’min and focuses on the barriers to reproductive healthcare that disproportionately affect Black women. Carine Roitfeld’s New Sports Publication Venture
Carine Roitfeld and her son, Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, CEO of CR Fashion Book, are launching a new biannual magazine and digital platform dedicated to the intersection of fashion and sports. Set to debut in the first half of 2025, the platform will spotlight exclusive brand collaborations, capsule collections, and athlete-designer merchandise drops. In addition to exploring activewear trends, it will feature in-depth interviews with fashion-forward athletes, blending the worlds of style and sports. Dwyane Wade has been tapped as the guest editor for the inaugural issue and his involvement signals the publication’s ambition to merge these industries in a way that resonates with both athletes and fashion lovers alike. Roitfeld said of the new venture, “Fashion and sport are two powerful forms of expression that inspire millions around the globe. We aim to create a space that celebrates this fusion and showcases the unique stories that emerge when these worlds collide.” Wade also graces the cover of the latest CR Men issue, which hits newsstands Monday alongside the 25th issue of CR Fashion Book, themed “Love & Fantasies.” [WWD]

KidSuper Expands into Music
Colm Dillane, founder of KidSuper, is expanding into the music industry with the launch of KidSuper Records. The label’s first release, the single “Big in Da Game,” features rappers Giggs and Quavo and made its debut during the KidSuper Fall 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week, where Giggs premiered the track. Quavo, who attended the show and performed at the after-party, later added his verse to the song. In the music video, both artists, along with Dillane, are seen wearing pieces from the fall collection. The video was directed and produced by KidSuper Studios. Music has always been a core element of the brand’s identity; since its inception, Dillane has collaborated with artists like The Rolling Stones, Elton John, and Joey Bada$$. His runway shows often feature original music, and KidSuper has provided free recording space to artists as part of its ongoing support for the creative community. [WWD]

Florence Will Host Gucci’s Cruise 2026 Collection
Gucci’s creative director, Sabato De Sarno, is paying tribute to Florence—the city where the brand was founded in 1921—by presenting the Cruise 2026 collection there on May 15th. The event, titled “Gucci Firenze,” will reveal its exact location in the Italian city at a later date. This will be De Sarno’s second Cruise show; the first took place at Tate Modern in London last May. Guccio Gucci opened his first leather goods shop on Via della Vigna Nuova in Florence in 1921, and to this day, Gucci’s corporate offices remain in Casellina, a short 30-minute drive from the city. Gucci is the second brand to announce its plans for the upcoming cruise season. Last week, Chanel—still without a creative director following Virginie Viard’s departure in June—revealed that its show will take place on April 29th at Lake Como, Italy. [WWD]

Marcelo Gutierrez Launches Debut Photography Book
Makeup artist Marcelo Gutierrez, known for his clean, glossy, and versatile aesthetic, has released his debut book, Nothing Precious, a reflection on his decade-long creative journey in New York City. The book features close collaborators and muses, including Paloma Elsesser, Lourdes Leon, Gabbriette, and Joan Smalls, each portrayed in unique characters designed by Gutierrez himself. The images were captured by photographers Renell Medrano and Aidan Zamiri, and features a foreword by actress Lily-Rose Depp. “Nothing Precious is not just a book; it’s a celebration of the power of collaboration, community, and the importance of prioritizing your personal artistic agenda and legacy,” says Gutierrez. “It’s about honoring the people who have been instrumental in shaping my career, while also capturing the spirit of the incredible creative forces around me.” You can pre-order the book here.
