Moda Operandi x Mama Farm Capsule Collection, Prada Beauty Launches, and More News You Missed

Moda Operandi x Mama Farm Capsule Collection
Moda Operandi has introduced its latest exclusive capsule collection titled ‘Made for Moda,’ showcasing collaborative knits crafted in partnership with Mama Farm. Founded by actress Isabella Rossellini, Mama Farm maintains a deep-seated commitment to advancing environmental conservation and biodiversity. Leading this initiative alongside Rossellini is her daughter, Elettra Wiedemann, who both have curated an innovative knitting program that embraces ethically sheared wool. In collaboration with Moda Operandi, the dynamic duo joined creative forces with designer Aisling Camps, creating a four-piece knitwear collection available in limited edition. The pieces are hand-crafted by Camps in her Brooklyn studio, using sheep wool sourced sustainably from Mama Farm’s own flock. Priced from $1,590 to $3,990, Moda Operandi chief merchant April Hennig said, “This capsule was not engineered to serve a specific trend, or merchandise need. It was purely an organic collaboration between Aisling and Mama Farm that is focused on the beauty of the raw material and took over a year to incubate and bring to market. It’s so special that the aim of this collection was the shared goal to tell a story; it wasn’t just about selling clothes.” [WWD]
