Jean Paul Gaultier Taps Julien Dossena, Saint Laurent Is Headed to Berlin, and More News You Missed

Jean Paul Gaultier Taps Julien Dossena As the Next Couture Guest Designer
Julien Dossena, the creative director of Paco Rabanne, is set to be the next guest designer for Jean Paul Gaultier‘s upcoming couture collection. This marks the fifth time that a guest designer has collaborated with JPG, and it will also be the first time that Puig, the owner of both JPG and Paco Rabanne, will work together for the guest series. Dossena spoke about the collaboration, stating, “In the end, it’s all about respect for the work and the way of working. It’s about finding the perfect balance between what you can bring, your love for your work, and being inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier’s spirit and work ethic. Being invited into someone’s house is a form of politeness, so the idea is to allow yourself to be influenced by that, rather than the other way around.” Julien Dossena is expected to debut his collection for Jean Paul Gaultier in July.
