Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady File For Divorce
Supermodel Gisele Bündchen and quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady, announced today their divorce through their Instagram stories after months of speculation on their marital issues. The reason for the divorce has not yet been shared with the public although much of the break has been speculated to be due to Brady recently unretiring and rejoining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In an interview with Elle U.S. just last month, Bündchen voiced her apprehensions about Brady returning to football, “This is a very violent sport, and I have my children, and I would like him to be more present,” she said. Bündchen and Brady were together for 13 years and have three children, two of their own, and one from Brady’s previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan. [Vogue] [NBC]
The Wall Group’s TWG Incubator Is Back
After seeing the success of their first two cycles, The Wall Group has announced the return of the TWG Incubator. “A six-month multidisciplinary program that pairs up-and-coming creatives with artists managed by The Wall Group to provide insider access, insights, and guidance to artists from underrepresented backgrounds.” Cycle 3 starts in January 2023 and will be held in London for the first time. The mentors from Cycle 3 are hairstylist Stefan Bertin, makeup artist Naoko Scintu, stylist Way Perry, and set designer Penny Mills. Not only will mentees gain coaching from their creative mentors but they will also be assigned a Wall Group manager mentor, with access to monthly networking sessions with key industry figures, portfolio reviews, and digital workshops. After the mentees complete the program, they will be gifted a full artist kit customized to their specialty, including products that have been hand-selected by the TWG mentors and The Wall Group’s leadership team. SKIMS Will Receive the Inaugural Innovation Award at Next Month’s CFDA Fashion Award
SKIMS partners Kim Kardashian, Jens Grede, and Emma Grede will be awarded the CFDA‘s inaugural Innovation Award in Partnership with Amazon Fashion at the 2022 CFDA 60th anniversary Fashion Awards. “The Innovation Award recognizes a fashion visionary, leading with technology and innovation in branding/marketing, social media, customer engagement, performance or product development, that shapes how customers are shopping for fashion.” The co-founders will accept the award at the CFDA Fashion Awards ceremony on Nov. 7 at Cipriani South Street in New York. The ceremony will be cohosted by CFDA members Joseph Altuzarra, Gabriela Hearst, Aurora James, Lazaro Hernandez, and Jack McCollough. [WWD]
