Marine Serre Champions A Diverse Model Squad

At a sports pitch on the outskirts of Paris, Marine Serre produced an inclusive showing that amplified the codes that have been commercial successes for the French designer. Titled State of Soul, Serre’s crescent moon logo was, of course, prevalently printed on gilded, body conscious looks throughout the co-ed fashion show that hundreds of the viewing public scored tickets to attend. Serre continued her push for sustainable practice with swimwear and athleisure made from recycled fiber before it gave way to a strong denim selection of patchworked looks. Monochromatic printed pieces in shaved terry cloth and upcycled T-shirts and silk textiles were also cleverly patched into dresses. The model olympiad was led by French rugby player and opener Kelegh Moutome with a diverse casting by William Lhoest including Ajuma Nasenyana, Cordula Reyer, Cherif Douamba, Yura Nakano, Taemin Park, Erin Wasson, Hanne Gaby Odiele, singer Jorja Smith, and closer Lourdes Leon taking a lap.
