S.S. Daley Wins the LVMH Prize
Steven Stokey Daley of S.S Daley has won this year’s LVMH Prize announced earlier today at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. The award, judged by top names like Jonathan Anderson, Stella McCartney, Kim Jones, Nigo, and more, comes with a year of mentorship and a cash prize of 300,000 euros. When accepting the award from Cate Blanchett, Stokey Daley said, “This is like an Oscar actually, Cate. I’m overwhelmed!”. The Karl Lagerfeld Prize went to second runners up, Eli Russell Linnetz of ERL and Idris Balogun of Winnie New York. Linnetz, who just collaborated with Dior Men on a capsule collection show, thanked his family and LVMH while Balogun also gave a shoutout to his family members in the room. Prior to winning, Balogun held design director jobs at Burberry and Tom Ford before launching his brand in 2018. [Vogue]

ANDAM Announces Finalist for 2022 Prize
Speaking of prizes, ANDAM announced this week the finalists for their annual Andam Fashion Awards and this year’s list features the best of the design wunderkind. Nominated for the 300,000EUR grand prize are Lisi Herrebrugh & Rushemy Botter of Botter, Ottolinger, Peter Do, and Robert Wun, COOL TM, Heliot Emil, and Lukhanyo Mdingi. Nominated for the 100,000EUR Pierre Berge Prize for young French labels are brands Benjamin Benmoyal, Bluemarble, and Boyarovskaya while Ancuta Sarca (London) and Parisien brands Dolly Cohen and 13 09 SR will be vying for the 50,000EUR Accesorries Prize. Winners will be announced on June 30th decided by a panel of top execs including Kering chairman and CEO François-Henri Pinault, LVMH Group chairman, and CEO, Sidney Toledano, Instagram’s director of fashion partnerships, Eva Chen, and more.

Lewis Hamilton Is Valentino’s First DI.VA
Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton is Valentino’s first menswear DI.VA, short for DI.fferent VA.lues, and the new face of its Pink PP campaign. According to the brand, the Valentino D.IVA represents a multifaceted character of codes and inner values. Hamilton was chosen as the first ambassador for his “authenticity, individuality, and fierce advocacy work for global equality.” The campaign is a new initiative for the Italian house to grow their community, with Hamilton working closely with Pierpaolo Piccioli on a text campaign coming out this fall. Jacquemus Is Heading to Arles France For F/W 22 Show
Simon Porte Jacquemus is headed back to his roots for his next Jacquemus show presenting in Arles, France, on June 27. The collection named “Le Papier” will be immediately available for purchase after the show on their e-commerce site. Both women and menswear will be part of the collection along with the brand’s upcoming Nike collab. [WWD]

Hervé Léger x Law Roach Collab
For Hervé Léger’s resort 2023 collection, the brand has tapped Hollywood stylist Law Roach to collaborate with it’s creative director, Christian Juul Nielsen. Roach and Nielsen created 25 pieces inspired by the brand’s extensive archive. Starting in October, the looks will be available to consumers in Hervé Léger boutiques, their e-commerce site, and at specialty stores worldwide. Roach said, “This has been a very hands-on experience and I have been involved in every part of the process. We started by analyzing Hervé’s massive archive and pulled out elements that I liked and didn’t like. From there, I was able to see my vision and Christian helped make that vision come to life.” [WWD]
