We shot this in different spas throughout New York. I felt part of an otherworldly dream, as always with Steven. There was never a detail he didn’t think of during our shoots. I loved watching him bring his visions to life.

Steven has always been one of my all-time favorite photographers to work with. Getting to shoot American Vogue was the ultimate career goal and was an extra special shoot to be part of, especially with some of my favorite models. I loved getting to work with all of these girls. We all became very close because we did the show circuit and would spend lots of time together. They used to call Caroline Trentini and me “double trouble.” We did every show together and were besties. It was just so nice to be with girls who were having the same life experiences as me. We were all very young and thrown into the world of modeling at a similar time. I think it was important for all of us to have these connections with one another. I adore all of these girls to this day! Steven always made us feel incredibly comfortable, confident, and part of something unique. He is and will always be one of a kind. I remember shooting Italian Vogue with him when I was just 15; I was so nervous about working with such a legend. He was warm and welcoming from the beginning. Steven made me feel so confident in front of the camera and I think to this day, I’m a better model because of my experiences working with him.

I remember being in shock when they released 4 different covers with my image on them. I just felt incredibly honored to be part of such a special series so early on in my career. I still love these images to this day!

One of my favorite campaigns I’ve ever shot. We shot this in Italy, I showed up to set and they had a wall set up with holes cut out for me to stick my head and arms through. It was pretty funny as I could only move my hands, but we got creative and I just love how unique the images are.

Vogue Italia, October 2005

I’ll never forget this shoot. We shot in August on the rooftop of Milk Studios. If you’ve been to NYC in August, you can only imagine the heat. It was my first time shooting with David. He was amazing! I remember holding the baby in one arm with wind machines blowing at me, the baby crying and it being 100 degrees outside while wearing a dress made out of a blanket. I couldn’t believe how great the image turned out. This is one of the most memorable moments in my career.
