Edward Enninful Unveils Memoir Cover, A Visible Man
British Vogue editor-in-chief and Vogue Europe editorial director, Edward Enninful, announced last year that his memoir was in the works and set to release this September. This past week, Enninful showcased the book’s cover shot by Brazilian photographer Rafael Pavarotti. When asked why he selected Pavarotti, the editor said, “I wrote the book for the new generation – the young creatives who have watched me grow up, succeed, and make mistakes – so it makes sense for me to be seen through Rafael’s eyes.” [Vogue]

Yeezy Taps Nur Abbas As Head of Design
Founder of Yeezy Ye West (formerly known as Kanye) announced a new Head of Design hire to his team, Nur Abbas, the former design director for Nike ACG, now at Yeezy brands. Abbas will work directly with Ye and on all current projects, including Adidas, YEEZY GAP, and Stemwear, the accompanying clothing line for the new $200 Stem Player. The new design director said, “I’m energized to work with Ye because he cares so deeply about design and moving culture forward, at Yeezy and Gap, I’ve met some of the most talented people and teams, and I’m looking forward to working with them all to extend this new creative vision to the world.” [WWD]

Metaverse Fashion Week Begins
Fashion month isn’t over yet; virtual world platform, Decentraland is hosting their first-ever Metaverse Fashion Week from March 24th-27th. Tommy Hilfiger, Estée Lauder, Etro, and more than 50 other brands will be featured in the event. According to WWD, MVFW will include “a virtual Selfridges opening on Wednesday, virtual catwalk shows, pop-up stores, giveaways, designer wearables, and phy-gital products linked to NFTs; panels and exhibitions, musical performances and parties Thursday through Sunday.” Viewers can participate in the event by logging into the browser-based platform Decentraland. Former supermodel Yasmeen Ghauri is now on Instagram
Iconic 90s supermodel Yasmeen Ghauri made a break from her decades-long hiatus from the spotlight and is now on Instagram. Ghauri was an Alaïa and Versace muse amongst consistently working with some of the most legendary photographers like Steven Meisel, Arthur Elgort, Walter Chin, and Patrick Demarchelier. In 1997, the model took a step back from modeling and has lived a relatively private life until now.


See by Chloé is Closing Up Shop
Over the next three years, diffusion line See by Chloé will be phased out. The consolidation of the more affordable, younger line comes as the main Chloé line run by Gabriela Hearst pushes its purpose-driven business model centered around sustainability. Chloé chief executive officer Riccardo Bellini explained thew consolidation as “…as a natural and necessary step in order to continue the renovation of our first line, and to reaffirm a one-line, single-brand umbrella approach as our strategy going forward,” in an article shared on WWD.
