Y/Project Gave A Glimpse Into Their Gaultier Collab

Paris Fashion Week Menswear opened with the highly anticipated Y/Project Menswear show where Glenn Martens gave a sneak peek into his upcoming Jean Paul Gaultier couture offering next week. Martens’ usually twisted motif took on denim and shearling textiles, contorting bomber jackets and windbreakers into shorter and longer versions of themselves. Trending balaclavas and infrared, ombre knits ensure you’ll be cozy but the real magic was Martens’ take on the Jean Paul Gaultier risqué, trompe-l’œil body prints on shirts, dresses, and pants that are sure to turn up the heat. Surprising lineup appearances from designer Olivier Theyskens and stylist Camille Bidault Waddington grounded the collection in fashion realism, cast by Anita Bitton and opened by Meadow Walker, Ajok Madel, Mohammed Abubakar, Tobias Dionisi, Hannah Elyse, Tomiwa , and Yilan Hua.
