For the house’s first physical cruise show since the pandemic hit, Chanel brought brand ambassadors, Penelope Cruz, Caroline de Maigret, and Soo Joo Park who DJ’ed the after-party, alongside other celebrities to watch the unveiling of their 2021/22 cruise collection. Gucci Goes To LA For The Love Parade Show
The Hollywood and Fashion crowds flocked together to witness Gucci’s 100th-anniversary collection “Love Parade” as the house shut down Hollywood Boulevard and sealed off a full city block. The night was an extravagant event, with Jared Leto, Jodie Turner-Smith, and even Macaulay Culkin walking in the show. The collection is the third time Gucci followed their new offseason approach, and this time around, Creative Director Alessandro Michele chose Los Angeles as his mother always told him, “Los Angeles shines in its own magic, which is timeless; it’s a place that brushes the divinities, becoming a mythology of the possible.” The show also had a long list of first-time walkers wearing the costume-playful 70s like designs and a long list of actors and musicians in attendance, Billie Eilish, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Dakota Johnson to name a few. Co-founder of 16Arlington, Federica ‘Kikka’ Cavenati Passes Away at 28
Federica Cavenati also known as ‘Kikka’ to her friends tragically passed away due to a short and sudden illness at 28 on October 18th. Cavenati was the designer of the London-based brand, 16Arlington that she co-founded in 2017 alongside her partner, Marco Capaldo, and is survived by him, her parents, and her brother. Capaldo is set to present their newest collection in February 2022 in her honor.
