Adam Driver As A Centaur for Burberry Had the Internet Shook
What is it about Academy Award nominated men with washboard abs, racing and swimming with horses, that just turns the temperture up? The internet was in a frenzy over Riccardo Tisci’s first fragrance for Burberry, Burbery Hero, starring actor Adam Driver in all his glory. WWD reports the new fragrance, which features bergamot, juniper, black pepper, and cedarwood at its heart, is the brand’s second major fragrance to launch with Coty after Burberry Her. Shot by Mario Sorrenti, directed by Jonathan Glazer with FKA twigs’ ‘Two Weeks’ as soundtrack, the commercial features Driver racing into the open waves next to a champagne colored horse, before jumping into ocean, aquathlon style. As they swim and turn poetically in the sea, the final shot has them emerging from the water, combined as one like a centaur. Very Sagittarian energy.
