Seems like a trip down memory lane was needed for Michael Kors who went full Studio 54 for his latest runway show – set, styling and casting included. Yes, the 70s glam references might be the first things you noticed with all the gold lamé, aviators, and fabulous (and furless) shearling coats but the real grand surprise was 70s supermodel Patti Hansen taking the closing stroll down the parqueted runway. Under the disco ball in a gilded flared pantsuit, the blonde pro surprised showgoers with a fun stride all before Barry Manilow serenaded the audience with a lively rendition of “Copacabana”.
