Demarchelier’s Day

“When you look at one of the fashion images… gathered in this exhibition, you believe implicitly that even the most austere of pictures is grounded in a reality, a vision of a woman living her life, looking more gorgeous than she ever has before, or probably ever will do again.” excerpt from Anna Wintour‘s forward to Patrick Demarchelier‘s new book.  Judging from the throngs of fans and well wishers Wednesday night at Clic Gallery, many are in complete agreement with Ms. Wintour. Patrick’s breathtakingly incredible and long career is highlighted in his stunning tome, shooting some of the most legendary models, celebrities, entertainers and royalty of our time. We chose just 3 memorable images (so difficult to choose amongst the 400 pages!) but to see the rest, you’ll just have to make this a must have on your holiday wish list.
