A contingent of star mannequins seem to be getting ready for their MTV moment. The chief contestants are Top 50 face Jamie/1Mgmt (as seen in her star turn on the A&E model special) Karen Elson/DNA and Anouck/IMG. Former MDC covergirl Anouck Lepere is rumored to be drawing on the talents of master producers Puff Daddy, DJ Hell and Felix da Housecat for her musical efforts. Karen Elson in the meantime has been working with her ex-boyfriend Smashing Pumpkin’s James Iha. Was Carla Bruni a pioneer? Only time will tell.
