When some friends suggested that I apply to a modeling agency, I was initially a little unsure. In the end, though, I was simply much more curious and wanted to give it a try.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 Tell us about your hometown.<\/strong><br \/>\nI come from a rather rural area near Stuttgart. I didn\u2019t take it seriously at all; I was mostly doing it just for fun. I took some snaps, then went on Instagram, found agencies in my country, and started filling out applications. I was honestly shocked when they actually started replying to me. My mom has a hair salon, and I spent a lot of time there growing up. Apparently, I would sit on the customers\u2019 laps and talk their ears off, as if I had known them forever.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 How did you become a model?<\/strong><br \/>\nI was scouted on TikTok by a model scout, who encouraged me to give modeling a try and put me in contact with agencies. I never expected it to happen, but I decided to go for it, and that\u2019s how my modeling journey started!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 Share a bit about your background and upbringing.<\/strong><br \/>\nI\u2019m half Dutch and half Nigerian, and I grew up in the Netherlands. My mom always made sure that we were also brought up with the Nigerian side of our family. At home, we had a mix of Dutch and Nigerian food, traditions, and family habits.
