My mum likes to tell the story that for breakfast every morning, I used to come downstairs in a fairy dress, adorned with multiple pink and purple plastic beaded necklaces and a tiara. I am currently in my second year at University, studying a Bachelor of Science and majoring in Earth and Environmental Science.<br \/>\n2. I love creating art. I\u2019ve always been super into drawing and started painting in my last two years of high school. As an end-of-school project in my art class, I produced 5 paintings based on my mother\u2019s Norwegian culture.<br \/>\n3. I competed in Little Athletics for the majority of my childhood, from under-7s to under-17s. My main event was high jump, and I competed in Nationals in 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 What\u2019s a favorite book\/movie\/TV show, and why do you love it?<\/strong><br \/>\nI really like The Lord of the Rings as a movie series and have always been a fan of the fantasy and sci-fi realm. I went to school for marketing for two years (and got signed with my now mother agency AMR in 2024) with two modeling trips to New York sprinkled throughout, then I chose to do an AmeriCorps program, which wiped me off the face of the modeling earth for 11 months. In November 2025, I moved to NYC, and I\u2019ve worked more as a model than I ever have- being here in person really does change so much. I can\u2019t wait to work with more clients, expanding my network and understanding of the industry and myself!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 What\u2019s a favorite book\/movie\/TV show, and why do you love it?<\/strong><br \/>\nI\u2019ve been loving Caroline O\u2019Donoghue\u2019s writing-The Rachel Incident had my fingers TURNING those pages, and Skipshock is great escapism for me right now. I love her writing because it feels real and, at times, conversational. Overly frigid and elaborate books tend to turn me off, and I never end up finishing them. I like my books how I like my people- approachable, witty, nuanced but real.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 Share a bit about your background and upbringing.<\/strong><br \/>\nI grew up very Roman Catholic. I definitely had qualms with it growing up; I didn\u2019t feel as if I fit into the world of the church, and that autonomous thought patterns not \u2018in line\u2019 were not welcome. For a long time, I had to adapt to my environment, with what I thought or wanted not even being a part of the equation. It impacted and molded me in inextricable ways. As an adult who has had the time and space to figure out what I believe on my own terms, I\u2019ve only grown more appreciative and critical of my religion. My appreciation of intricate architecture, incense, community spaces, and choir-led song has definitely deepened. My critiques have remained&#8230; largely the same. I\u2019m learning as I grow that I can\u2019t change the circumstances or structures I was born into, but I can use them to inform the way I live now.
