I even made a bet with my dad about it. He said that I would have a perfect predisposition to become a model in the future. At the age of 16, I really changed my mind and started dreaming about being a model. Finally, I sent an application. Although my dad is not with us anymore (because of cancer, he died while I was 14), I know he was right at this point, and the agency accepted me :)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 What is your biggest irrational fear?<\/strong><br \/>\nI will miss my plane in a foreign country and NEVER return home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 What&#8217;s an essential part of your daily routine?<\/strong><br \/>\nOne of the things I used to do every day is gua sha. While many people know me as a model, I also design and sew my own clothes. With a background in fashion design, I have a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and creativity that extends beyond the camera.<br \/>\n2. From sketching and painting to developing my own film photography, I love exploring different artistic mediums. Creativity has always been a driving force in my life, shaping the way I see and interpret the world. Modeling isn&#8217;t just about looking good; it&#8217;s about embodying a vision, and my artistic background helps me bring that vision to life.<br \/>\n3. I love watching and analyzing films. Whether it&#8217;s cinematography, costume design, or storytelling, I appreciate the artistry that goes into filmmaking and how it shapes culture and emotion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 Tell us about your hometown. <\/strong><br \/>\nI initially grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, and I absolutely loved it there. I had so many friends, and some of them even had an alpaca as a pet! I had an in-ground pool in my backyard, which was a dream. But despite all the beauty and the friendships, I always had this longing to move to the U.S. Once we finally made the move, it was a big adjustment. I struggled to fit in and often felt like I was on the outskirts of my peers like I didn&#8217;t quite belong. It was a difficult transition, but it taught me a lot about resilience and finding my own space in new places.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 What&#8217;s a story your family\/friends like to tell about you?<\/strong><br \/>\nOne story my family and friends love to tell about me is when I sewed my boyfriend a quilt for Christmas. I had never sewn a quilt before, but I wanted to make something special for him. I spent 12 hours straight sewing it together while I was working over 50 hours that week and only had one free day before Christmas. The dedication I put into it made the quilt his most prized possession. Coming from a family where both of my grandparents are scholars, I&#8217;ve always been driven to excel academically. Whether through international exchanges, competing in olympiads, or graduating with the highest honors from one of Bulgaria&#8217;s most prestigious high schools, I&#8217;ve consistently pushed myself to achieve. Beyond academics, I&#8217;ve done a banking internship at UniCredit, worked at an investment fund, and held a board position in a student association. You could say I&#8217;m trying to balance modeling with continuously developing my professional skills\u2014or that I&#8217;m just trying a little too hard to become a full-fledged &#8220;finance bro.&#8221; Either way, I&#8217;m fine with it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 The most interesting thing about your family:<\/strong><br \/>\nTechnically, I come from a mixed background\u2013my mom is Chinese, and my dad is Bulgarian. But in reality, my father spent 20 years studying and working in China, so I sometimes joke around and say that he is more Chinese than Bulgarian. If you ever get to meet and know him, you&#8217;d probably agree, as the way he thinks and speaks makes it somewhat obvious.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 What are 3 interesting facts about you?<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Back in middle school, I competed for a professional Clash Royale team. After thousands of hours, three broken phones, a few global rankings, and a lot of new friends, I eventually retired. These days, I still log in from time to time and play a couple of matches, but nothing like the obsession I once had.<br \/>\n2. I&#8217;m also convinced I was a fish in a past life\u2014there&#8217;s nothing I love more than being surrounded by water. Whether it&#8217;s swimming, taking long baths, or just floating in the sea pretending to be dead, I find it incredibly relaxing.<br \/>\n3. And finally, something that might sound boring to some but makes me pretty proud\u2014my personal stock portfolio. And then fact that I was able to edit a video of my walking my debut show to it is such a dream come true. I could never even imagine really being able to do it but now that I did it it doesn&#8217;t seem real.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 Tell us about your hometown.<\/strong><br \/>\nMy hometown is Miami, specifically El Portal; it&#8217;s a small neighborhood, and I&#8217;ve lived there all my life. I 1 love the scenery and all the vegetation. It looks like a jungle. I enjoy the weather. It&#8217;s so nice to go on a run, especially during sunset. It&#8217;s so gorgeous. I also love all the wildlife especially the birds. There are egrets, ibis, and peacocks, and they&#8217;re all so pretty. The only thing I don&#8217;t particularly like is the traffic. If I leave at the wrong time, I can sit in traffic for hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:<\/strong><br \/>\nI&#8217;m a big comic book fan. Our goal was to get the car there in one piece, auction it, and donate the money to a local charity. While on the road, we took the train to the observatory on top of Jungfraujoch, watched the waves of Nazare, and drove next to the Iron Ore train in the desert of Mauritania. She&#8217;s one of the few characters written as a complete human being, both loved and hated by readers even a hundred years later. Others still try to trap her in their own perception of her, but she&#8217;ll be forever defiant and unknown.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 What&#8217;s the scariest thing you&#8217;ve ever done?<\/strong><br \/>\nStarted advocating for myself and accommodating my autism.
