How did you first enter the world of modeling?<\/strong><br \/>\nAfter studying chemical engineering for several years and being a flight attendant, I realized that fashion was my passion, and I graduated as a designer. I was my own model for my projects and for those of my friends and colleagues, but for many more, there was nothing professional. A few years ago, I started to feel like I wanted to explore this role more, and I&#8217;m really enjoying it. I also work as a stylist and produce shoots and I love them, so I&#8217;m like a fish in water +____+<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 What are three interesting facts about you?<\/strong><br \/>\n1. My relationship with my husband is quite special as we&#8217;ve been together for almost 28 years, and we have a kid, but we have managed not to stop living as we love: playing music and dancing.<br \/>\n2. My personal way of dancing: I can&#8217;t help closing my eyes and forgetting about everything, especially my own judgment :-) I love moving 100% free, and that&#8217;s why flamenco lessons are so challenging&#8230;<br \/>\n3. The way I see it, I live and work in fashion. My profile is full of different roles, and I stand up for humor and creativity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 Tell us about your hometown.<\/strong><br \/>\nI feel happy and grateful to have grown up in Gij\u00f3n, a seaside city in the north of Spain. In the &#8217;90s, when I was in my 20s, there was a bubbling music and art scene that influenced me forever. Gij\u00f3n has three beaches, is surrounded by nature, and has excellent food offerings; 3 of my favorite things in the world :-) The sad part is that the Asturias region has had many crises due to the disappearance of mining and steel, and the population is very old. I was attached to books growing up; I remember picking up a book, not knowing how to read, and just figuring it out.<br \/>\n2. I struggled with social anxiety for most of my life; only recently have I started to push myself in social situations to try and get better with them.<br \/>\n3. I like to think most animals love me, it may not be true, but I love them, so surely they can comprehend that and understand me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 Share a bit about your background and upbringing.<\/strong><br \/>\nBeing raised in New Zealand was a part of my life that I will always be grateful for. In school, we were heavily involved in M\u0101ori culture and would frequently both be taught and experience different parts of their customs and beliefs. I also remember being so carefree and happy when we would go on holiday to our little batch in a gorgeous beach town. Some of my best memories are in Pauanui.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 How did you become a model?<\/strong><br \/>\nMy mum&#8217;s friend, who is a hairstylist, would tell me that I&#8217;d make a good model. I had always put the thought aside, thinking that it&#8217;d be nice, but I wasn&#8217;t ready. It stuck with me until a few months after I finished school, when I decided to see if I could sign with an agency.
