I remember being on the phone with my parents and my manager at the job I had back home, literally jumping up and down and telling them I had to move. I went back to Georgia, got everything together, and moved to the city. I&#8217;m still in awe of how quickly my life changed. I am beyond grateful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best modeling experience so far?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Gucci \u201cLove Parade\u201d Show in Los Angeles felt like a dream. I had never been to California, and I spent every spare moment of the two weeks we were there exploring West Hollywood. Spending hours at the studio for castings and fittings with some of the kindest people built a real family. By the night of the show, we were all in position inside the Chinese Theater, laughing and buzzing with excitement. There was so much love in that show\u2026 Truly a core memory in my life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Currently you&#8217;re obsessed with\/about:<\/strong><br \/>\nMusic. At any given point in the day, I have my beats on listening to something. With writing my own, I am taking what I have always enjoyed as a pleasure and starting to really delve in and analyze every aspect. Writing comes so easily to me it feels, and it\u2019s really sweet to be able to turn a feeling into a sound.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is something you\u2019ve always wanted to do\/try?<\/strong><br \/>\nI\u2019ve always wanted to surf \u2014 in another life, I definitely lived on the beach. Also, I\u2019ve never had a cat or a dog\u2026 which is strange because me having a dog just makes so much sense \u2014 One day for sure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You recently started releasing music. How did you get started? How would you describe your sound, and who are your inspirations?<\/strong><br \/>\nFor as long as I can remember, I have been singing at any given chance. My debut record, Denim Heart, came out this month. As a kid, my mom would always have 70\u2019s rock playing in the car, so my inspiration is heavily built on that era of music. Denim Heart is soft, beachy, pop-rock\u2026 it\u2019s almost like my spirit in sound. I am hugely inspired by Mazzy Star, Mac Miller, Fleetwood Mac, Lana Del Rey, and a handful of 70\u2019s bands. For as long as I can remember, I have been singing at any given chance. For my kindergarten talent show, I sang &#8220;Tomorrow&#8221; from Annie. Five-year-old me would definitely approve of this venture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How else do you want to impact the world?<\/strong><br \/>\nI hope to create meaningful art that people can build memories around. I think that with the digital age, we move so quickly through art. With music, my dream is to give something to people that they can make their own, feeling and framing a time in their life with it. And when I jump into the film world, with acting or production, I hope to do the same.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s the best piece of advice you\u2019ve ever been given?<\/strong><br \/>\nTo be kind to everyone \u2014 To be forgiving and understanding.
