However, it took a while before I first signed as I had a whole family to convince that signing with a modeling agency wouldn\u2019t be the most dangerous thing in the world!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best modeling experience so far?<\/strong><br \/>\nMy best modeling experience was during a two-month trip to Japan when I was 16. I like to call it my \u00ab first times \u00bb trip since not only did I have my first bookings as a model, but I also experienced my first parties, my first love, it was the first time I spent such a long period away from my family, the first time I started cooking, and all in all my first real introduction into the adult world. The trip taught me invaluable lessons in how to develop and hold onto long-lasting personal and professional relationships. The insight I gained in Japan has since served me in contract negotiations, castings, job interviews, and personal relationships.
