I hope to have my own clothing brand one day. And I wish my English was better\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 How and when did you become a model?<\/strong><br \/>\nLast year I met a model scout at the bus station in my hometown. She gave me her business card and asked if I was a model. First I found it amusing because I never thought about me as a model &#8211; my life is pretty much about sports. But then my Mum convinced me to give it a try and the next day I gave a call to that model scout who immediately invited me for a modeling competition casting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 The best and worst aspects of your personality:<\/strong><br \/>\nI\u2019m determined and I never give up, even when the situation seems hopeless &#8211; that\u2019s something I\u2019ve been taught by playing collective sports for so many years. And the worst aspect of my personality? I tend to be moody quite often. I like her because as well as being an extremely talented and dynamic actor, she is also very humble and doesn\u2019t take herself too seriously.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 An issue or cause you are passionate about:<\/strong><br \/>\nAn issue I\u2019m passionate about is positive representation in fashion and entertainment. I think it&#8217;s important that everyone, especially young people, feels seen and celebrated. I think the industry needs to abandon traditional standards of beauty for it to accurately reflect the world we live in.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 Something you are self-conscious about:<\/strong><br \/>\nI\u2019m self-conscious about how I\u2019m perceived by others and what people think of me. It was pretty crazy! I would have to walk from my house through a shallow part of a river (until my uncles finally built a bridge) just to get to the closest road. All the kids from around my area would meet and wait for a tiny old Volkswagen Beetle to take us down to where it was safe enough for the school bus to collect us and take us to the nearest town so we could get to school. Sometimes my flashlight would run out of battery and, as there were no shops anywhere near, I would have to make a hole in an old tin can and put a candle through it so it would be brighter. I would take this route every morning with my German Shepherd and just hope that we wouldn&#8217;t run into any jaguars or wild boars.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014 What&#8217;s something you wish you knew more about?<\/strong><br \/>\nSPACE!! For sure! It keeps me up at night knowing that I&#8217;m probably not going to live long enough to find out what exactly there is out there. Aliens? Other planets that can sustain human life?
