5&#8217;9&#8243;, South Sudanese, born October 7th.<\/p>\n<h4>Why:<\/h4>\n<p>South Sudanese via Australia, fascinating find Aweng will soon be headed to London for show week, where her formidable fabulousness should go down a treat. <\/p>\n<h4>We Asked:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>What is an issue or cause you are passionate about?<\/strong><br \/>\nI am very passionate about many issues, and there is no way I can scale the importance of one particular. As BLM, LGBT, Feminism, POC, WOC are literally the biggest undermined issues of our times as a society, and are very close to home for me personally.<br \/>\n<strong>What was your most embarrassing moment?<\/strong><br \/>\nI&#8217;ve had so many embarrassing moments, it&#8217;s almost impossible for me to highlight one. But if I were to pick one that I still cringe about even until today, it would have to be my first day in a western school. I went into the bathroom, and I didn&#8217;t know that one was supposed to close her stall, instead I would yell at any other student that would come into the bathroom, and to top it off I would yell at them in Dinka (my native language). I got suspended that day, on my first day.<br \/>\n<strong>What&#8217;s the most interesting thing about your family? Do you have siblings?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe most interesting thing about my family is the age gap between me and my mother. My mum is only sixteen years older than me.
