— What’s a story your family/friends like to tell about you?
When I was three, I liked butter so much that I got a whole package as a birthday present, and I was allowed to eat it with my hands. I mostly enjoyed playing around with it and not actually eating it, but it is, to this day, an essential item in my everyday meals.

— Tell us about your hometown.
I am from Aachen, Germany. It is a small town in the west of Germany. What I like most about it is that whenever you go downtown, you meet people you know. What I like least about it is that whenever you go downtown, you meet people you know.

— What are three interesting facts about you?
1. I have been dancing ballet for twelve and contemporary for five years, which means I have a lot of experience on stage.
2. My mother is a theater director, so my sister and I grew up watching a lot of theater, staying up late at rehearsals, and every now and then, some actors would stay at our apartment.
3. I have a bad phone camera, but whenever I go outside, I love to capture moments of beauty and stillness in everyday life.

— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
My favorite TV show ever is Broad City. I remember exactly where I was when I saw it for the first time. I was in high school, and up until that point, I hadn’t seen any media that depicted my experience of girlhood and female friendship. They are so silly and gross and supportive of one another. They were funny and raunchy the way me and my friends are and were extremely body positive and pleasure positive. It’s pretty unserious, but Broad City showed me the type of person I felt like I was and wanted to continue to be.

— Can you tell us about your happiest childhood memory?
Hands down my 4th birthday party. It was a “Jeweled Mermaid” theme and my parents got all the matching plates and utensils that I picked out from the party store birthday catalog. This is actually probably the most clear memory from my childhood. My mom made a cake from scratch that was shaped like a treasure chest and had candy necklaces, gold coins, and ring pops coming out of it. On the dining table, there were THREE Barbie mermaids sitting on top as table decorations. I used to think Barbies were super expensive, so I was really shocked that my parents got them. The best part was my mom and dad made a very involved scavenger hunt for me and my friends and actually buried the treasure. It was magical. If I ever have kids one day, I will definitely make their birthdays as special as my parents did.

— If money wasn’t an obstacle, what would you be doing with your life?
If money were no object, I would go to school for the rest of my life. I would probably get as many degrees as I could. I got my BFA in Studio Art, so I would probably continue to get art-related degrees at first. I would take all the classes I could in jewelry making, which is my main interest right now, and I am looking for community college classes I can enroll in soon!

Where:

— Tell us about your hometown.
My hometown is Tourcoing, located in the North of France. I would say the best thing is that we have everything nearby. The worst thing is the weather, and I would say people are not that open-minded here 🙁

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you:
The fact that I don’t have as much confidence in myself as I seem.

— Who is your favorite entertainer?
Lena Situations, she started on YouTube, and her evolution is admirable. I really like her way of seeing things. To always stay positive no matter what happens, and all that while enjoying life! And, of course, she’s French 😌

Delight

Who:
Delight Osayande (@thabita_gold001) — 178 cm / 5’10” — Nigerian from Lagos, Nigeria — born December 18th — she/her.

Where:
SK Models (Lagos – mother agency)

— One thing you never want to do again:
I don’t want to hide anything from my parents and siblings. These are the only people that can take me out of any bad situation.

— How did you become a model?
I used to research online, and I came across an agency, so I messaged them. They asked me to come to their boot camp, and after that I got signed by the agency.

— What weird or useless talent do you have?
I can manipulate my emotions. I would be dying to talk/see somebody and still pretend like I feel nothing. (Doesn’t help)

Jordan

Jordan Williams (@jordie_sure) — 187 cm / 6’1.5″ — South African from Cape Town, South Africa — born October 7th — he/him.

Topco Models (Cape Town – mother agency), PRM Agency (London)

— One thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
I’m an old soul. The main father figure in my life is my grandpa. I grew up listening to golden oldies like Elvis, Frank Sinatra, and Louis Armstrong, taking long Sunday drives, and learning to whistle old gospel songs. This has affected me in many ways. For example, I prefer an old Ford Escort to a new Ferrari. I’d spend money on a nice, comfortable cardigan instead of wanting an expensive sneaker, and my bedtime is my bedtime.

— An issue or cause you are passionate about:
Men going to therapy. I lost one of my close friends to suicide, and it was such a hard time for me, never mind the toll it took on his family. The world has made it hard and uncomfortable for men to express themselves emotionally. They say it gives them the “ick .” I want to encourage brothers and friends to check in on one another and be truthful.

— Who is someone you admire and why?
Ryan Hing. He’s a guy I met on one of my first model jobs. He’s been doing this for years, and he recently started his own production company. I look up to him because he came from a tough background, but he locked in and changed his mindset. He’s achieved everything I want to achieve, and he believes I can do the same

Karen

Karen Flores-Alfaro (@pcrtb) — 182 cm / 5’11.5″ — Australian / Chilean from Rancagua, Chile — born July 6th — she/her.

Where:
People Agency (Melbourne – mother agency)

— What’s an essential part of your daily routine?
Going for a walk with my dog Bones and drinking many coffees.

— What’s a favorite book/movie/TV show, and why do you love it?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Currently rewatching it, and it’s so good. It has peak 90s fashion, the fits are a vibe, the dialogue and storylines are sick, and it’s funny, too! Anything with vampires in it is for me; not sure why I am low-key obsessed.

— The most interesting thing about your family:
Everyone is an engineer except me. Aunts, uncles, cousins; all engineers.
