Jass Reemann

Agency:
Sage Management (Tallinn)

Age:
17

Height:
189 cm/6’2“

Instagram:

Place of Origin:
Tartu, south of Estonia

Ethnic Origin:
100% Estonian, however, I have always felt like I have a little bit of southern spark inside me.

Birthsign:
Libra

How disc,overed:
I got scouted by my agent in a grocery store. But actually I’ve been already thinking about a career in modeling before I got scouted, because my older sister, my role model, used to model as well.

What was your first modeling job?
My first modeling job was a show in Milan for Federico Curradi FW18. I remember that my heart dropped a little when I saw the number of cameras at the end of the runway. I was worried about the slippery boots, but as soon as I stepped on the runway the nervousness got replaced with excitement. Now I hardly ever get nervous, even if I have to wear 6-inch heels, I will shine on the runway!

Favorite things:
Mountains, wildlife, cliff diving, cooking, southern people, sports, crema caffè, Florence, my agency, spicy food, a good book and most importantly spending time with my friends and family.

What are you listening to at the moment?
A lot of vintage rock and roll like Steve Monite, Bill Haley and also the classics – Amy Winehouse, Frank Sinatra, Queen. From modern artists, I have been listening to the Weeknd lately.

Favorite movie, tv show:
Captain Fantastic, also everything with Johnny Depp or DiCaprio in it, especially The Great Gatsby.

Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
I love everything by the legendary Karl Lagerfeld, especially his work at the house of Fendi. Currently, I am obsessed with my Dior Sakura fragrance, that I got from Tokyo.

What were you doing before modeling?
I was a bit of a troublemaker. Besides studies I spent my time exploring across the country, at the beach, sneaking into waterparks and doing all sort of horseplays.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
I would still be doing something creative, whether that is making movies or starring in them or maybe something completely different – I have never been a planner, I love to go with the flow and follow my own story. Also, I would love to pick up either surfing or skateboarding as well.

What’s something uncool that you love anyway?
I love to dress like an old man. I am obsessed with vintage blazers, cardigans and flowy silk shirts from the 70s.

Favorite modeling experience so far?
I loved flying out to Tokyo for Mr. Kim Jones’ Dior pre-fall show. The collection was futuristic, yet the tailoring was timeless. The set was a masterpiece and it was a real honor to walk for one of the most famous fashion houses’ first men pre-fall show. Also, the entire experience in Tokyo was unbelievable. The culture was drastically different from what I am used to and Japanese people are so nice and polite. Whenever I had free time I was walking around the city, visiting old temples, eyes, and mouth wide open.

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
It is tiny, so no matter where you go, you will always bump into someone you know or are good friends with.

Which brand would you really love to model for?
There is a lot, but just to name a few: Fendi, Alexander McQueen, and Calvin Klein.

Place you would love to visit:
I want to visit every continent I have not been to yet. Nigeria, Cuba, and Iceland are definitely in my bucket list.

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
Alton Mason recommended this book on his Instagram story and I immediately went and grabbed my self a copy. The book was „The Alchemist“. It has much to offer and teach for young ambitious 21st-century teens. If you have not read it, then you must do so ASAP.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“To realize one’s destiny is a person’s only obligation” – The Alchemist.
