Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
I never thought of being a model but I always loved fashion. I was discovered at a casting in Santo Domingo. My mother’s friend told her about the event and my mom encouraged me to participate.
Most memorable modeling experience so far?
All my experiences have been memorable. The Dior show in Kyoto was particularly special, as I always wanted to visit Japan. Everything was beautiful, from the clothes to walking in the gardens of the historic Tō-ji Temple.
One song you have on repeat, and why?
La Travesia by Juan Luis Guerra is a song I’ve been listening to a lot. I’m always traveling and that song reminds me of home.
What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
I love to read. Currently, I am reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. Fantasy novels are a favorite – they make life more interesting.
What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
I’ve always wanted to hear a live orchestra play
What’s one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
I am interested in psychology. I have an aunt that studied psychology and she introduced me to the subject.
What change would you like to see in the world?
Mental health being discussed more in the fashion industry. Models often begin their careers young, and there is a lot of pressure entering a world that is new and unfamiliar.
