Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
Modeling full-time was definitely never the plan or something I ever thought I would have the opportunity to do. I started modeling after a lot of encouragement from my parents, mainly as a way to make some extra money and support myself through university. I certainly never expected to end up where I am now; being able to travel for work has been amazing!

Most memorable modeling experience so far?
I would have to say my debut for Prada, the show that really started it all. It was such a surreal moment, and I was quite nervous leading up to it, but ending up being a super fun day, one I will never forget!

One song you have on repeat, and why?
Anything by Courtney Barnett because it reminds me of home.

What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
I have always loved creating things, whether that’s cooking, crocheting, or putting outfits together.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
I would love to learn a second language, especially after traveling this year. Previously, I never felt like I had enough motivation and didn’t know what language to choose, but now I have a real reason to start.

What’s one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
Not sure if this is necessarily surprising but I love camping and hiking and spending time outdoors. As much as I love cities, I truly feel most at peace when I’m in nature.

What change would you like to see in the world?
Something close to my heart is environmentalism, in particular a more sustainable approach to fashion. As much as fashion is an industry that offers so much creativity and self-expression, the rate at which clothing is produced and consumed is very taxing on our planet. We all have a role to play in the fashion supply chain, and it’s vital that we do our part to reduce environmental impacts. I think conscious consumption is one of the easiest ways individuals can curb their impact by only purchasing items that they love and know will be in their wardrobe for years to come.
