Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
As a child, I always loved expression and would enjoy watching models on catwalks and in magazines. My sister studied fashion history and would always encourage me to try modeling one day; she felt I could make a difference in fashion. I moved to Europe at 18 years old, and it was in Spain that I decided to knock on all the doors of the modeling agencies, and they rejected me. I didn’t let it stop my dream. I walked into the final agency, Francina, and they signed me. I ended up going to college in Alicante, and a couple of months later, my world changed.

Most memorable modeling experience so far?
Without a doubt, my most memorable experience was also my first experience. Opening Gucci last January, my first show.

One song you have on repeat, and why?
‘Vegano’ by Cardellino, the mix of bossa nova and the lyrics are just hypnotizing. A great artist.

What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
The basis of my life apart from modeling are meditation, yoga, reading, and music.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
I always wanted to play piano and acting

What’s one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
People get surprised when I speak a language they don’t expect me to know. I speak four languages: Spanish, English, French, and Italian, and it ended up being really useful for my job

What change would you like to see in the world?
I would like to see people believe in themselves more than in anything else. Forget impossible.
