Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
Being a model wasn’t something I had ever considered. A career like that doesn’t exist in my country, so it came as a big surprise. I had initially moved to the UK to take a gap year before going to university, but I was scouted by my agency while out with my friends. I made the decision to temporarily delay going to university and see where modelling would take me. It was an amazing opportunity that I accepted gladly!

Most memorable modeling experience so far?
I recently had the opportunity to stay 3 days in Cape Town for a campaign. That was an unforgettable experience.

One song you have on repeat, and why?
“Runnin” – The Pharcyde. It’s one of my mother’s favourite songs and reminds me a lot of my childhood in the Caribbean.

What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
I’m a surfer. My father and I have surfed together since I was a kid. I also still intend to go to university and study anthropology and history.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
Skydiving!

What’s one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
I’ve been dive-certified since I was 12

An improvement in western education systems
