Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
I never thought of being a model, but I got scouted multiple times on the streets since I was 13. I kind of rolled into it, and after I completed my studies, I gave it a try full-time.

Most memorable modeling experience so far?
This job has given me many memorable experiences; it’s difficult to choose just one. This year was insanely exciting doing my first full fashion week. If I have to choose oneā€¦ Working with the Prada team has been a total dream. It was so special to work together with the designer and stylist and see the collection come to life from scratch.

One song you have on repeat, and why?
Not one song in particular, but at the moment, I’m listening to a lot of old-school funk music; always good vibes with that kind of music.

What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
I like to spend my free time in nature, hiking and exploring. In summer I like to take a tent on long walks and do wild camping. When I’m in the city, I often go to street markets and antique shops. I’ve loved thrifting since I was a kid. There’s just something about discovering old clothes and objects that feels very special.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
Completely different from what I’m doing now, but I have always thought about becoming a midwife one day. Who knows, maybe after working as a model.

What’s one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
That I would like to be a midwife one day, I always get surprising responses from people when I tell them.

What change would you like to see in the world?
I would love to see more green in cities, like green roofs, flowers, and more trees to provide shade. Living in the city makes me miss the peace and quiet of nature a lot. Apart from that, I wish that people would be kinder to one another. People can be so quick to pass judgment. Let everyone be whoever they want to be, believe in whoever/whatever they want to believe, or not believe at all. My mantra is: if it doesn’t harm anyone or anything, mind your own business and focus on your own happiness :)
