Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
Yes, I wanted to become a model, but I wasn’t passionate about it due to scammers, but some people encouraged me to try it out. I was discovered by a model scout called Christian Kimena. He DMed me on Instagram after he saw one of my TikTok videos because I am very passionate about African history and culture.

Most memorable modeling experience so far?
Whenever I walk around Paris, the city I live in, I see myself in the Sandro campaign on billboards and metro stations. It brings me joy, and I’m proud of myself for making it this far.

One song you have on repeat, and why?
Sorry, I haven’t got a favorite song, but I can say that I prefer Senegalese songs, especially retro music, because it has a lot of morality behind it. Music is not only a good vibe, lol.

What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
I like art, African culture, history, retro music, cinema, theater

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
I would try acting in a movie like Wakanda, lol.

What’s one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
Before modeling, I did a lot of precarious work like cleaning. After finishing high school, my mum told me to go to work and start earning money for myself. It allowed me to learn how to manage money well and buy the last iPhone (hahah).

What change would you like to see in the world?
A world without discrimination like colorism, racism, and sexism… For me, difference makes beauty.
