Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
I never imagined that I’d be a model. A couple of years back, I used to make music with my friends and shoot video clips. I briefly appeared in one of them and felt good in front of the camera. That was when I didn’t have a job and wasn’t sure about what I wanted to do. One of my best friends’ mom would always tell me that I could be a model and that I should give it a try. So one day, my sister and I chose some photos and wrote an application email, then we searched for a couple of agencies in Barcelona and contacted them. To my great surprise, almost all of them eventually replied to me, showing interest. I did a couple of interviews and some test shoots with the agencies I liked the most and finally decided on Fifth.

Most memorable modeling experience so far?
My first show with Bottega Veneta, without any doubt. I was extremely excited to work with them, and it was also my first big show. Such an unforgettable experience!

One song you have on repeat, and why?
At the moment, I have two, as I feel like I’m fluctuating between two moods. The first one is “Threshed” by Aleksandir. It makes me connect with different emotions; I can dance to it, and it gives me encouragement and willpower, although, at times, it can also bring me down and make me feel very vulnerable. It’s a very existential song for me. The other one, I would say, is “Paris, Texas” by Ry Cooder. It’s the title song from the soundtrack of the movie with the same title – “Paris, Texas.” This song puts me in a reflective and meditative state, and I feel that it makes me appreciate the fragility and beauty of the world. It is very calming, and as it’s so short, I tend to leave it on loop.

What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
I’m a music producer. I’ve been surrounded by instruments since I was a child, and I absolutely love music. Years ago, I studied music production at the “EUMES” university in Girona. I’ve done several music projects, but for the past couple of years, I’ve been producing purely for myself and to satisfy my need for self-expression through music, and for now, I have no intention of going back to making music publicly. Recently I got a piano, and it completely absorbs me for hours and makes me happy; just playing and having no ambitions or goals in music has helped me a lot to heal my relationship with music. I also do BMX as a hobby. I love going to the skatepark and doing my tricks and stuff, it’s a sport that I love, and it helps me to disconnect. Another thing that I am very passionate about is cinema; I enjoy analyzing and deconstructing the characters of my favorite films and series.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
It has always been a dream of mine to make a film or a series or to create a story and tell it cinematically. The development of characters and their stories is something that has always appealed to me.

What’s one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
I’m not really sure. Maybe right now, I would say, my sense of humor. I think from the outside I may seem like a cold and serious person, but once you get to know me, I think I have a very funny side and a good sense of humor, or at least that’s what my closest friends tell me.

What change would you like to see in the world?
I couldn’t name just one. I sincerely believe that humanity today is destroying our environment, our cultures, people, and values. I believe that civilization is seriously ill, and the cause is none other than civilization itself. We are in the age of business and propaganda where all values, including the value of life, lose all importance to the value of money. I think it’s crucial to learn how to respectfully relate between ourselves and the environment.
