Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
Margo: I never thought about modeling. We got scouted at a music festival but thought it was trafficking, so I made Maddie throw the card away. When she later got signed, I started following her around, and they signed me too. Oops!
Maddie: I didn’t always want to be a model; I wanted to be a florist or maybe a wedding planner. My sister and I got scouted at a music festival, and I thought it was trafficking and declined- later after a few more scouts approached us, I decided to give it a try. I moved to NY the day after my high school graduation and have been modeling ever since.

Most memorable modeling experience so far?
Margo: All of my early jobs were booked with my sister, so the most memorable moment was my first job solo: the Versace show!!!! Still insane to this day.
Maddie: My favorite modeling experience has to be opening Acne Studios. It was my first show in Paris and will always hold a special place in my heart.

One song you have on repeat, and why?
Margo: I play 4Æm by Grimes about 12 times in a row, and then I switch it to Gaga because I’m a little monster forever.
Maddie: Anything by Lana!!! She is mother. If I had to pick one song by her, I’ve been listening to Shades of Cool recently. It makes me feel like a sad sugar baby sitting on the beach.

What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
Margo: Outside of modeling, I have a serious hoarding problem where I can’t stop buying thrifted and vintage clothes. One day I want to have my own thrift store :)
Maddie: I like reading romance books! Enemies to lovers reigns supreme. Also, I watch a lot of horror movies. I honestly think I’ve seen almost every scary movie at this point. If you want a recommendation, I think you should watch Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum! I had nightmares about this one for days :D

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
Margo: I really want to get my belly button pierced!! I also think being a piercer would be fun to try!
Maddie: I want to try glass blowing. I really want to make a glass cat.

What’s one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
Margo: I am terrified of styrofoam.
Maddie: My collection of cats. I have so many cat babies!!! Not real ones, though; mine are figurines made of porcelain or wood, or glass, and ceramic.

What change would you like to see in the world?
Both: We need safety and protection for trans people and trans kids. It’s more important than ever with today’s political climate.
