Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
Back when I was a teenager, I dreamt about it a few times, playing with the idea of being a model. Social media and the whole world presents it as a very glamorous, easy job. I sometimes found myself jealous about the girls going down the runway and imagined how it would look if the runway model or the covergirl was me.
I’ve always been very different to girls my age; the tallest, skinniest in the school class, easy to notice but very shy at the same time. So when I was approached by a model scout few years ago at a music festival asking if I would like to become a model, I thought of it as a joke – never imagined that I could have the courage to actually be a model. Anyway, I took the agency’s business card, had a few drinks and laughs about it with my friend, took my chances and contacted the modeling agency, and so the journey began.

Most memorable modeling experience so far?
Thinking about my experiences, usually the most memorable (that stand out) are the bad ones; catwalk with high heels that seemed like they were not made for walking on an endless runway, shooting summer clothes in winter/ winter clothes in summer, etc…
Every profession has its pros and cons. And when I think about the pros and my good memorable experiences, there’s lots of them.
I got to meet so many amazing talented people in the industry that would not be capable without modeling. Many fashion designers that I was taught about in school and admired dearly I got to meet in the flesh and see them work – the creative process that stays a mystery to many, and I’m very, very grateful for that because I know that I’m living moments that I will remember 20 years later.

One song you have on repeat, and why?
“She’s My Religion” by Pale Waves got stuck in my head for a while

What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
I love baking. I really do. Even though the final baking invention sometimes doesn’t look as good as it tastes, it’s big passion of mine. Trying out new and old recipes… one of my favorites is baking a frgál, a traditional valachian pie with a plum filling.
Another huge passion is crochet and knitting for me. This year I made my own fashion collection called “Je v tom háček” with pieces made by crochet and tying up textiles. The collection’s been presented on the fashion show WE’RE NEXT in Prague and Brussels. I’m also part of the WE’RE NEXT production team, full of young inspiring people, trying to connect upcoming fashion designers and students from the whole of Europe for one evening full of fashion.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
For a long time I’ve wanted and still want to see the Warner Bros. Harry Potter studios in UK. I’m still obsessed with the movies and books. Kid at heart :)

What’s one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
I’m a very clumsy person when it comes to sports, especially team ones; I usually hurt myself or others with that ball, lol!

What change would you like to see in the world?
If I concentrate my wish for change only in the fashion world, I would like to see all the workers (from photographers to models) paid on time by clients. We all need to pay our bills, to buy food, to travel for work, and its not easy when someone, for various reasons, decides not to pay on time.
Thank you, golden fish, that’s one of my three wishes.
