Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
I was a theater kid so I loved any sort of show or performance. I would watch fashion shows on YouTube for hours in high school, only dreaming of what I could be doing now. I even went to some open-call castings in Miami when I was 19, and they all said no. A year later, I got scouted from TikTok during quarantine!
Most memorable modeling experience so far?
This whole last season was so memorable for me. I had never walked in Milan, Paris, or London before, so being able to have that opportunity has been life-changing.
One song you have on repeat, and why?
No One Dies From Love by Tove Lo. The whole album is on a constant loop at my place. My friend played it for me during my first visit to Paris, so it holds a special place in my heart.
What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
I went to University for drawing and painting! I love creating and experimenting with art. Recently, I’ve been learning to DJ and produce music too!
What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
Travel more. Working in this industry has allowed me to do so, but I would love to travel to more remote places in the world.
What’s one thing people may be surprised to find out about you?
One thing that really surprises a lot of people is that I’m transgender, male to female! It has been an amazing experience this season to be one of the handful of trans models in the industry. Even though we have a long way to go, it still feels amazing to be at the forefront of amazing representation and change!
What change would you like to see in the world?
Transgender children need a safer and more welcoming space in this world. They need not only acceptance but encouragement to be themselves. Trans kids are the future of this community but are treated as if their thoughts or feelings don’t matter. I hope to see that change happen quickly and with ease.
