How discovered:
Actually, I used to work as a train conductor, but modeling was always my dream career due to my height and also because I’ve always been keen on having my photo taken. Someone told me that in photos, I’m just showing how I really am inside: brave and confident. Luckily, one day when accompanying my friend to a casting, I got scouted by my mother agency. Now, my dream has come true, and I’m so happy to work with the most professional staff in Europe. Amazing!

Best modeling experience so far?
This is my first time abroad. Being able to walk my first ever runway show for Raf Simons was such an amazing experience! I’m a big fan of Raf’s, and I love his design so much. He is super kind, communicates with everyone in the background, and asks if anyone is cold. In this show, I learned a lot. I had to focus every moment and walk at the right gait to show the clothes in the best way.

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
I have many hobbies, like cooking, swimming, hiking, and mountain climbing. And I really enjoy traveling and exploring new cities where I can get around and soak myself all in different cultures. I guess just because I’m kind of curious about everything new; new places, new people, new stuff, etc. Now I really want to climb a mountain on the Chinese plateau, a mountain called Siguniang Mountain-Second Peak. It is 5276 meters high. I really want to experience all the feelings brought on by the change of altitude after rock climbing for more than ten hours!

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
Modeling has always been a dream, and I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love. Once I’m determined to do something well, I’ll spare no effort, so I guess I’m doing what I want to do now.

How do you want to make an impact in the world?
Wow, this is the first time I have to tell someone else on this blue planet who I really am. But please keep it a secret! Guess what, I’m actually Wonder Woman! Hahahaha, relax! I’m just kidding! You know, there are so many girls just like me who don’t feel special, but they’re still dreaming their dreams every day. Though many of them have to give up halfway, many of them still persist. I guess I can do something to show them if someone persists in what he or she is dreaming of and exerts himself or herself to achieve it, miracles can happen. Just don’t give up. For me, I don’t like to have too many constraints. There are things I like to do and jobs I like. I just want to be happy.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Always remember your goals! Always try to move forward!
