How discovered:
I began modelling a little over a year ago with the Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense perfume campaign. Katie Grand and I styled myself from an entire studio filled with the most gorgeous vintage clothes before Zoom calling with Marc himself. I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful introduction to the industry.

Best modeling experience so far?
Definitely shooting the recent cover for Numéro Tokyo with Elena Rendina. Leith Clark fulfilled all of my Sofia Coppola, and Marie Antoinette fantasies and dressed me in countless pink outfits, each more gorgeous than the last. (I also have to give an honourable mention to my 10 spellbound seconds with Kate Moss backstage at the Richard Quinn SS22 show in London.)

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
I have always been, and will always be completely head over heels obsessed with Kylie Minogue. I have such an extensive history with Kylie, from being e-mail pen pals with her when I was 8 years old, to the subsequent 17 shows I have attended with my mum since. Nobody will ever compare to Miss Minogue and her eternal grace, glamour, and benevolence.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
Ever since watching Drew Barrymore in Scream, I have had the strongest desire to play the ditsy, false protagonist at the beginning of a slasher/ horror movie. There should be a separate Oscar for most glamorous death because I know I’d win.

How do you want to make an impact in the world?
I hope that within my visibility as a model and the substance of my own art practice I am part of the change that allows trans kids to exist without shame. I recently graduated in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and I created a photographic book that explores trans-specific childhood trauma through self-portraiture while challenging public perceptions of controversial topics such as gender confirmation surgery and medical transition for young transgender women.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Better the devil you know – Kylie Minogue
