How discovered:
I remember It was about a year ago. I was doing exams at this time and hadn’t really been using social media, but I got bored one day and decided to check my Instagram. I saw a message from a scout asking me if I was interested in modelling. I assumed it was a scam at first but humoured the DM — and to my surprise, he put me in contact with my mother agency.

Best modeling experience so far?
Probably working with 10 Magazine. This was my first ever job so I was quite nervous but the team was amazing and made me feel totally at home in the new environment. I remember getting my hair bleached for the shoot which was both painful and exhilarating and also opened me up to self-expression. Later on, I found out I’d made the cover which was a huge confidence boost for me as prior to this I had felt very unsure of myself and what I was even doing. So I will always be grateful for this amazing opportunity!

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
It sounds so cliche but probably self-care. Just being around loved ones and reminding yourself to be kind to yourself can go very far. And also Geordie Shore! I watched it for the first time the other day and was amazed by the unintentional irony it presents. It is very comedic for me to watch. In many ways, it has accidentally become its own art form. I think it’s crazy to observe how many opportunities have been launched from the back of this single program which really just shows the power of social media in modern society.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
I’ve always wanted to start making and producing my own music, Music is definitely one of the most important parts of my life so being able to creatively direct something of my own that I and my friends can turn up to would be great! I’d also love to learn Spanish at some point. I think it’s a beautiful language and very useful to know.

How do you want to make an impact in the world?
I want to help elevate queer and specifically Trans voices. I think within the queer community Trans people get treated very poorly and mostly just get seen as objects or dehumanised so, therefore, want to help create a society where we are safe and celebrated and no longer have to suffer exploitation.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
That if hating yourself was work, it would have worked by now.
