How discovered:
While I was shopping in Amsterdam when I was 14, I got scouted by my mother agency, Linden Staub.

Best modeling experience so far?
The best experience I’ve had so far was definitely the Chloé show! It has been a dream of mine to walk a big show and it was truly everything I had imagined and more. I have a very special connection to Paris because I have family there and the show taking place in the streets of this beautiful city by night was the cherry on top!

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
I finished high school last year and also because of the pandemic, I have more time on my hands to explore different new things; I have always enjoyed recycling old clothes and I now also started sewing my own pieces. I love making something pre-loved into something completely new. On a completely different note, I also am learning about financial investments, something that really interests me and I actually think everybody should know more about. As mentioned, I have family in Paris and speak French but I always wished to improve my skills, now I have time to do so.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do/try?
I’ve always dreamed of living in New York City for some time. Now that I have an amazing agency there, it might be possible :)

How do you want to make an impact in the world?
I think education is extremely important. From a young age, I have seen how difficult it is for many people in Burkina Faso to go to (or stay in) school and how this impacts their lives. I dream of being able to help these kids and make a brighter future for them in some way. But of course, being educated isn’t only about having gone to school. We must constantly educate ourselves and others on worldly matters, for example at the moment I want to educate myself more about feminism and equality.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“Create your own happiness.” In Dutch we say: ‘Life is a party, but you have to decorate it yourself’ and I really agree with that.
