I was working at a bakery in Paris, one day I had a customer that turned out to be the owner of Q Models in NY – he scouted me then. I like to say I was discovered over a croissant…

What was your first modeling job?
Ami show

Favorite things:
Soccer – I’m a big fan of L’olympique Lyonnais (French team). I used to play soccer a lot but I stopped a few years ago. I love to walk in Paris in the winter; sitting on a park bench with a great book is a great way to spend an afternoon. I also love the cinema and the art of acting, I have been taking acting classes and I love it.

What are you listening to at the moment?
The last Post Malone album (Beerbongs & Bentleys).

Favorite movie, tv show:
Favorite movie is Rocco and His Brothers by Visconti. And my favorite show is Friday Night Lights.

Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
Alexandre Matiussi (AMI). I can wear everything from this brand.

What were you doing before modeling?
Working in a bakery, before that I was working in construction, I have done a lot of jobs – I have had to support myself since I was 16.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
Actor or soccer player

What’s something uncool that you love anyway?
Reading.

Favorite modeling experience so far?
First meeting with Steven Meisel for the Versace campaign.

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
My mother’s food, the hot weather.. the streets of my childhood, and the beach.

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
Skopelos, the little island in Greece that I am writing this from. I arrived yesterday and will spend my summer holidays here, relaxing and unwinding from the hustle of the city.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
One day someone told me to keep believing in my dreams no matter what other people say or do. And if they close 10 doors, I have to find a way to open the 11th.
