Name:
Zoe Alayrangues

Viva Paris ()

Age:
20

Height:
5’11”

Instagram:

Place of Origin:
I was born in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) and grew up there

Ethnic Origin:
Ivory Coast has 64 dialects, I speak Dioula

Birthsign:
I’m Aries ascending Cancer!

How discovered:
Oh, good question because I was discovered by several people, on Facebook, in a shopping mall and then by a scout from Success who introduced me to Viva because Success is a men’s agency!

What was your first modeling job?
Hermes fashion show

Favorite things:
So, first of all, I love to feel happy, and often I ask myself questions internally like “how do I feel?”. In relation to my answer, I always make sure to be at the top of well-being. Music, I sing wrong often because I listen mostly to English songs but I do not care because what matters to me most are the emotions that I feel every note. Then I like to make people that I meet happier, and materially I really like clothes, and I love to write, yes, I write quite often.

What are you listening to at the moment?
Right now I listen to a lot of Pink Floyd that I actually discovered this month in spanking clean, lots of Creedence especially “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” and the good old 2Pac and “Is This Love” by Bob Marley…

Favorite movie, tv show:
I have so many favorite movies. Serpico with Al Pacino, The Godfather, Walk The Line, Momento, Goodfellas, etc

Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
My dream show is Marc Jacob because I love the character and these ideas. In Paris, I dream of Saint Laurent for daring, Céline with Phoebe, Balenciaga for its modernity, and Chanel because I am especially touched by the history of Gabrielle (Coco Chanel)

What were you doing before modeling?
Before modelling I was in school and sometimes a waitress in the coffee shops

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
When I was younger, I wanted to become a stewardess and then dropped that because I did not know how to swim. Then I wanted to become a barmaid but I am too clumsy, then after wanting to become a barmaid, somebody told me to become a model so now I like to be a model and for later I have other desires to always remain in fashion.

What’s something uncool that you love anyway?
Difficult question, because I’m part of this generation where weird is cool, so most of the time people who cross my path approve of my weird look. I say weird because I like to put together what others avoid assembling.

Favorite modeling experience so far?
My favorite modeling experience was my first trip to London for the Miu Miu campaign! I was in an awakened dream, with sublime girls and the stylist Katie [Grand] I followed for a long time!! I have a smile on my lips just to answer this question!

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
Another complicated question! Firstly, what I miss about Ivory Coast is carelessness, living with little, going to lunch at your friend’s apartment without warning and the many parties! But now I live in Paris, I want to move all the time, I would like to see, live, and know everything.

Which brand would you really love to model for?
Marc Jacob, Saint Laurent, Céline, Chanel!!!!

Place you would love to visit:
I would have gone to California at least once because I fantasize about the beautiful surfers

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
At the moment, I am interested in traveling! I love this emotion that we feel every time we go to an unknown destination, you know this mix of excitement and impatience! I am addicted.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Quite often, people tell me that I’m doing well, I only explain what I learn every day, and what I learn every day is that life is like clothing in creation. A starting idea then the more you advance, the more you adjust and readjust to satisfaction.
