How discovered:
First Eva [Gödel of Tomorrow Is Another Day] wrote to me on Instagram, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do it, so I didn’t send any pictures. Then she met me randomly on the street in Berlin so I went to Cologne for the casting.

What was your first modeling job?
It was the Gosha show. That was almost two years ago now. I’d heard of him before, but I wasn’t really into fashion at that time—I was just skating. He posted on Instagram some casting and you were able to send pictures so my friends and I did it and that’s how we got into the show.

Favorite things:
I really like skateboarding, that’s my favorite thing to do. Hanging out with friends and skating, that’s the best. Recently, I really like playing darts—that’s fun. Also, taking pictures with my camera.

What are you listening to at the moment?
I’m listening to a lot of Kodak Black.

Favorite movie, tv show:
I really like the movie Lost in Translation, that’s a nice one. It’s not that intense, but it’s a cool story and you get to see Tokyo. I’m watching Friends right now, which is nice.

Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
I’d say Prada, I really like what they do. Also, I like the stuff that this skate shop Civilist is doing. I ride for them and they do some nice stuff. When I was smaller, I always went there to buy things and we started talking. I started to hang out there and that’s how we got connected. For fragrance, I use Hermès. I really like that one and I don’t think I’m going to switch.

What were you doing before modeling?
I was in school and skating all day.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
Probably skating all day and trying to find a job.

How long have you been skating?
Nine or ten years now I guess.

Favorite modeling experience so far?
The first time I went to New York for a job. It was nice to be alone in New York. I also enjoyed going to LA.

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
Berlin is super nice, the people are really nice. There’s so much to do and there’s a lot of good skate spots. I always got to Pappelplatz. It’s the smallest skate park in the city. It’s really nice to hang out there. It’s right next to a park and there are supermarkets so everything is close.

Which brand would you really love to model for?
Prada would be nice, but I guess that’s not happening now. [Laughs] Still, that would be nice.

Place you would love to visit:
I really, really like New York. That’s my favorite place to go to, but I really want to go to Tokyo too. I’m planning to go there for a while.

What do you like about New York?
I don’t know, it’s just a nice city. I really like the architecture and the skate culture is really nice. I like the people too. It’s also so different everywhere, the architecture is not the same all the time. It’s really different from Berlin, where it’s all kind of the same.

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
I’m always obsessed with skating.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Try to be yourself all the time.
