How discovered:
A photographer from my school asked to take some photos of me, then she sent it to the agency (Moon) and they got interested… so they wrote me and I decided: why not :)

What was your first modeling job?
It was a lookbook in Milan on a model trip and I was very excited about my first job as a model.

Favorite things:
I was running for 7 years before modelling, so I am happy if I have some time for a run in the nature. I love spending time with my friends and family.

What are you listening to at the moment?
It’s just a big mix of everything that has been recently released from pop-soul to hip hop, from pop to rap.

Favorite movie, tv show:
I love the Hunger Games! Also I like watching Stand Up, it’s funny how comics turn casual life problems of every person including me into really good jokes to laugh at.

Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
I like the style of Miu Miu, and I love Valentino dresses! For the moment I use Coach the Fragrance, I like how light and a bit of sweet it is! All that I use is actually just a moisturizing cream and lip balm!

What were you doing before modeling?
I am still at school, and I have one and a half year more. Before modelling I was a runner. I was also working in summer for two months.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
I would just keep studying at school and then go to university.

What’s something uncool that you love anyway?
I will try any kind of food which is new for me no matter what it looks like. It’s hard for me to throw away something, because I think that everything might be important, so I have a lot of potentially important trash at home and in my bags.

Favorite modeling experience so far?
I just walked for Prada exclusively… the show was very exciting, my first show ever!

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
The more I travel, the more I see the world, the more I understand how much I love my hometown, and my country in general. I am from Riga, and the thing I love about this city is how calm it is, even though it’s the capital city of Latvia and there are much more people than in other Latvian cities and towns, it’s still never in a crazy rush 24/7, I don’t feel like I am just one of million people of the crowd on streets. I like how small this city actually is, so I can explore the uniqueness of every street, park, cafe and building. This city keeps its history in the atmosphere, in buildings, in different type of events, which are not only marathons and mass celebrations of different holidays near the river and in Old Town, but also we have a lot of cultural events, events in honor of Latvian artist, poets, military, that way every outstanding Latvian is well remembered. To me Riga is like my safe cage in the world where I always can return to and I can be sure that there I am welcomed and loved, it definitely the place for my soul.

Which brand would you really love to model for?
Obviously I would love to shoot for Vogue magazine, a cover is completely a dream.

Place you would love to visit:
I would go to the Alps, I’ve always loved mountains, the native nature’s beauty, feeling of freedom, adrenaline, the view that is opening in front of a person, is definitely something I want to experience in life.

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
With time I’ve started more and more be interested in different food and dishes, so now every time I see very interesting mix of ingredients in a dish I get excited to try it!

Best advice you have ever been given:
Probably it appears in my mind when something happens and for a moment I don’t remember any motto of my life, but I always think that things happen a certain way for a reason, and even though sometimes it feels opposite, everything happens in the best way it might be.
