Red Model Management (New York)

Age:
I turned 18 years old last September 16th

Height:
6’2″

Place of Origin:
I live in a small town called Ozone Park which is located in Queens, NY. I’ve been here for about 7 years and it’s been pleasant. I live with my family and 2 younger brothers and I have lived in New York my whole life.

Ethnic Origin:
My mother is ½ Sicilian and ½ Puerto Rican, my father on the other hand is fully Dominican.

Birthsign:
I am a Virgo

How discovered:
I was scouted downtown on 14th Street and 7th Ave by a man I had first thought to be strange, but later turned out to be a great and amazing dude. When Dave Fothergill approached me I was not very interested but then again it was my 17th birthday and I was out with a bunch of friends going to a rave. At first I declined his offer because he had asked me random questions like my height, eye color, origins and much more. But when he offered me his card and told me to stop by the office, at that very moment I knew this would be a great opportunity to get out and explore parts of the world. Since that day me and Dave have become great business partners and great friends.

Favorite things:
I am a fan of basketball. I was an extreme player when I was younger but over the years I haven’t been to the courts as much but I’ll soon be going back as the weather gradually gets better. One thing I can’t live without is probably my shoe collection of Jordan’s and Nike’s. I have been collecting since I was 14 years old and never had a steady collection until the beginning of this year but I have over 30-40 pairs now and soon to be more!

What are you listening to at the moment?
I have been listening to a lot of A-boogie, Lud Foe, Lil Yatchy, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Baby Dram, but I’m a well rounded guy. I can listen to anything with a catchy tune.

Favorite movie, tv show:
I’m in love with this one movie called The Warrior which is about 2 brothers who become boxers and fight each other in the end! Sad, but a very good movie nonetheless.

Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
My favorite designer would be either Olivier Rousteing or Demna Gvasalia.

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
I would probably go back to school and finish learning to be an architect, I find it super fascinating the way different countries build the unique housing components and even the views that some of these buildings have are just simply dumbfounding.

What’s something uncool that you love anyway?
I had this collection of knives of all different varieties… some as small as my pinky and some as big as 6 feet! Not too many people took a liking to it, such as my parents, but it’s a pretty cool conversation starter.

Favorite modeling experience so far?
I would have to say the 2016 fashion show for Alexander Wang. It was just a big show for me but at the same time one of the most fun and amazing shows. I got to meet a lot of great people and work with a lot of different and very cool artists.

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
I don’t go out much so I don’t know the spots per se, but the best thing about being in my home town is being near the adventures/journeys I take. I always miss my Xbox and my bed.

Which brand would you really love to model for?
I would love to model for A Bathing Ape or even Balmain Jeans.

Place you would love to visit:
A place that comes to mind every time I’m asked this question is Europe! I’ve always wanted to go and explore all it has to offer. It just seems like such a beautiful continent. I always wanted to see London, Spain, Italy and France. Being here all your life can be a ‘lil boring, especially being a model and meeting a lot of cool people from a vast amount of different countries. It makes me want to see what their hometowns are like.

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
My current obsession is my Jordan/Nike collection. I always wanted the new pair of Jordan’s when I was in elementary and middle school because I was always being bullied and chased. When I came to high school there was a slight change. Slowly my popularity grew but it wasn’t for my pair of kicks, it was for being myself. My Pops always told me “The shoe doesn’t make the man, the man makes the shoe.” I have slowed down with my collection to help out with family payments until I find my own place but I always buy pairs here and there to stay looking fresh.
