METROPOLITAN / M MANAGEMENT MEN (Paris)

Age:
24

Height:
190cm (6’3″)

Place of Origin:
I was born and always lived in the south of France. Before starting modeling, I had never been to Paris!

Ethnic Origin:
Both of my parents are French but I’ve some Polish blood from my great grand-parents, that’s the reason why my first and last names don’t sound French at all!

Birthsign:
I was born on August 16th, 1991 so I’m a LIOOOOON!

How discovered:
I was scouted in the streets of Montpellier in August 2014, only a week before moving to China for a year of studies! I’ve been so lucky! In fact, I worked in a supermarket at that time, I left the store to go back home still wearing my dusty working uniform when a photographer just came to me and asked me if I wanted to be a model. I thought it was a joke before, but he explained to me everything I had to know about modeling and I got signed in a Parisian agency as soon as I came back from China! Before bringing me to an agency, he also brought in backstage during men’s fashion week in June 2015, where some casting directors thought I was a model!

Favorite things:
I love to spend time with my family and friends, I love to drive around with my car, taking pictures, shooting and editing videos, producing music (you can find me on Soundcloud by the way :D) … And I love the travels, discovering foreign places and cultures, meeting new people… I think that this is very important, and that’s a big part of me now.

What are you listening to at the moment?
At the moment, I’m listening over and over again the EP of the Australian duo What So Not. They invented a style of electronic music of their own that I can’t get tired of! I’m also listening to the new albums of Tame Impala and Rihanna that are really good too!

Favorite movie, tv show:
I’ve a lot of favorite movies! But if I had to choose one, I would say “Mommy” by Xavier Dolan. I’m a huge fan of his work, this movie really moved me. At the moment, I’m addicted to American Horror Story. This TV show surprises me every season with the casting, the real based stories and everything! I can’t wait to watch the next season!

Favorite designer, fragrance or beauty product:
I’m still discovering the world of fashion, and the work of designers. I love Kris Van Assche’s work at Dior. His collections are always stunning and very classy, I like the idea that his clothes are wearable at any time of the day and for any occasion. I’m so sad he stopped producing collections for his eponymous brand! My signature fragrance has always been “Le Mâle” by Jean-Paul Gaultier! Speaking of which, I need to buy the new one! I’m not using a lot of beauty products, just some Nivea cream every night and voila!

What would you be doing if you weren’t modeling?
If I hadn’t become a model, I would do my internship to finish my master’s degree of English and Chinese cross-cultural negotiation. After my modeling career, I would like to enter a video and audiovisual school, or working on international business with China, maybe in the fashion industry!

What’s something uncool that you love anyway?
This may seem strange, but since I was a child, I’ve always been fascinated by abandoned places. Houses, factories, shops, cars or even castles : all these places have their own history and I like to explore these amazing places, try to understand why their history stopped, see the nature take back again its place … And of course freeze the moment with my camera because these place are about to disappear. This hobby is called URBEX (Urban Exploration).

Favorite modeling experience so far?
I just did one fashion week season but I’ve already had a lot of amazing experiences. Two of them stands out to me : the first is the shooting of the Dior Homme show’s video with Willy Vanderperre because I was discovering for the first time the backstage of a fashion short movie. The second is the Gucci show in Milan because the atmosphere was very 1970s, the people were all cheerful, the runway was amazing and the clothes were marvellous. It was like a flashback in the 1970s! I love Alessandro Michele’s work and spirit.

What’s the best thing about your hometown/country?
I live in Montpellier in the south of France, it’s a beautiful and dynamic city! It looks like a little Paris! I love the fact that you don’t have to go far to find the beach, or beautiful vineyards landscapes where you can take a walk. What I miss the most is the nice weather!

Which brand would you really love to model for?
Before modeling, I really wanted to walk for Dior Homme and Kris Van Assche made my dream came true! I also admire Steven Klein’s work so I would looove to work with him!

Place you would love to visit:
I’m a travels’ addict now so I would like to visit as many places I could! I think I will visit Poland very soon, because of my roots, and try to find my Polish family there! I would also love to go back to China, working there as a model, and to be able to visit more because they are so much to see in this beautiful country!

Currently you’re obsessed with/about:
My first season of fashion week was amazing! I had to attend only Paris fashion week but I also did London and Milan, finishing the season with 19 shows! I still shake my head when I say this, and I’m excited to see where this unique experience will lead me in the future!
